EMPS has a Canon XH A1 High Definition Video (Mini-DV) camera and a Canon XLH1 high definition (mini-DV) camera, Manfrotto Tripod, Sennheiser ME66 Microphone kit, ARRI lighting kit, and other accessories required to record good quality digital video footage.

The equipment is made available as a priority for EMPS projects, but can also be hired at discounted rates to student members and other University societies and at standard rates for non-student members, but even then we are still cheaper than anywhere else!

Please make sure to book equipment well in advance using the form below to avoid disappointment, and be aware that a deposit of 50 pounds (cash or a cheque made payable to 'Edinburgh Movie Production Society') is required for every booking.
